In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 – Oct. 15), Chappell is excited to host mystery readers from Aguijón Theater of Chicago who will captivate students in grades K-5 with short stories in both English and Spanish. These readers will bring to life a range of captivating tales, bridging cultures and languages. By offering stories in both languages, they will not only showcase the beauty of bilingualism but also foster a deeper appreciation for the diverse cultural backgrounds within our school community. This unique event promises to be a delightful and educational experience, inspiring a love for storytelling and celebrating the vibrant traditions of Hispanic culture.
