Athletics
Dear Parents and Families,
Welcome to a new school year! We are excited to begin another fun and active season of fall sports. Participation in athletics is a wonderful way for students to build teamwork, develop skills, stay active, and demonstrate school spirit.
This fall, we are proud to offer the following sports for students in grades 5–8:
- 5-8 Boys and Girls Cross Country
- 5-8 Boys and Girls Volleyball
- 5-8 Boys Soccer
In order for students to participate, all mandatory forms must be completed and returned before the first practice. The forms areattached below and include:
Note: Students will not be able to practice or compete until all forms are submitted. Forms are attached to this email. Students can also get them from me in the new gym. I will hand them out to any interested student.
*We also have our Chappell Sportsmanship Letter attached below for everyone to keep.

Our coaches are looking forward to working with student-athletes and supporting their growth both on and off the field.
We kindly ask for your support in encouraging your child to:
- Commit to attending practices and games on time.
- Show respect for teammates, coaches, opponents, and officials.
- Demonstrate positive sportsmanship at all times.
We also welcome families to cheer on our athletes! Your enthusiasm and support in the stands make a huge difference. Please help us create a positive environment at competitions by modeling good sportsmanship and encouraging all participants.
