Intensive Support Cluster Program

 

 

Chappell is home to an intensive supports program for students with more significant learning needs. We have three classrooms for these students: preschool, the intermediate grades, and middle school. These students add a richness to our school community. Buddy programs allow students in general education classrooms to partner with students in the intensive classrooms. The students can learn from each other and build understanding and empathy.

 

These programs also mean that Chappell has outstanding clinicians onsite multiple days per week, which is unfortunately not the reality at many Chicago Public Schools.
