CPS Arts Liaison and Visual Art Teacher: Regina Wiethop

Regina Wiethop has taught art at Chappell thirteen years. She received her BFA in Visual Art from Stephens College, worked many years as an art director and graphic designer, and then received an MAT in art education from Columbia College Chicago. Ms. Wiethop has taught ballet, tap, and jazz dance from her teen years through graduate school. She has set choreography for and helped construct sets for Chappell musicals. She was certified in June of 2024 in Shambhavananda Yoga.

Music Teacher: Ted Nazarowski

Ted Nazarowski has taught music here at Chappell for over ten years. He received his degree in music education, with an emphasis in string orchestra, from Northeastern Illinois University. Prior to that Mr. Nazarowski studied as a composition major and piano minor in the Music Conservatory at the Chicago College of Performing Arts. Outside of teaching, he has worked as a designer and collaborator for many opera companies around the Chicago area.
